Forklift driver – reach truck & counterbalance - must have minimum 6 months experience

Night shift - 7pm to 7am

4 days on & 4 days off

Key Responsibilities

1. Accurately logging the movements of all the raw material, packaging, ingredients and products within the store using the stock control system.

2. Carrying out regular stock checks, providing accurate reports and highlighting any stock errors.

3. Checking the forklift on a daily basis to ensure that it is in good working condition. Any defects or safety defects must be reported immediately to the Stores and Logistics Manager, Stores Supervisor, Stores Chargehand or another manager on site.

4. Participating in keeping all work areas clean, safe and tidy.

5. Reporting to the Stores and Logistics Manager, Stores Supervisor or Stores Chargehand any issues which are likely to affect the smooth running of the store.

6. Identifying any training requirements which may be beneficial to the role or the department.

7. Maintaining a good working relationship within the office and factory.

Knowledge and Experience

1. Experience of using a computerised purchasing and stock control systems is preferred but not essential.

2. Proficient in English and have a good standard of literacy and numeracy.

3. Forklift licence and/or experience of driving forklifts is preferred but not essential.

SHIFT PATTERN:

shift pattern - 7PM TO 7AM

4 on / 4 off

PAY RATE:

£15.52 per hour
